Here are some of our frequently asked questions about our live illustration services
How do I book you for my event?
To book me for your event, simply fill in the booking form, or send us an email with the details of your event. I aim to respond within 1-3 business days with availability and pricing.
How many portraits can you complete in one event?
The number of custom portraits completed in one event can vary depending on the duration and specific circumstances. Typically, I can complete a single portrait illustration at 8-10 minutes per person, duo/pair illustrations at 5-10 minutes per person, and trio+ illustrations at 6 minutes per person (averaging around 7-10 people per hour)
How many hours should I book you for?
The number of hours to book me depends on the size of your event and the number of guests you would like to have illustrated. It is a minimum of 2 hours and maximum of 6 hours with an average of 7-10 people illustrated per hour.
I can provide recommendations based on your specific needs to ensure adequate time including options that would allow illustrations of extra guests that were not able to be illustrated on the day (this will need to be discussed prior to your wedding date to ensure all photos of guests are taken to be illustrated after the event).
How far in advance should I book you?
Please get in contact as soon as possible so I can secure your preferred date and time.
Do guests need to stay at your table while you draw?
Guests can continue enjoying the event and do not need to stay at the table while I illustrate, however they are definitely welcome to watch as their illustrations are being drawn.
Will you draw the bride and groom?
Yes, I'll certainly illustrate the bride and groom in my signature style to beautifully capture them on their special day.
What needs to be provided on the day?
On the day of the event, I will only require a designated space with a table and chair setup. All other materials and equipment will be supplied.
What materials do you use?
I love using markers and ink to create my illustrations as they are quick drying and vibrant in colour. I also use premium artist grade paper to ensure quality throughout my work. All finished illustrations will be placed in a well presented plastic sleeve which adds extra protection to the artwork.
Can you travel worldwide?
I am based in Brisbane Australia, but more than happy to travel interstate and worldwide. Just send me an email if you require interstate or international services and I'll send through a personalised quote.
